If you’re a poultry producer or processor, you already know how your profits ride on efficiency. Agricultural solar is a great way to improve those profits, as Circle M Poultry recently discovered. But where do you learn more about improving efficiency with commercial solar? At the Poultry Federation’s 2023 Poultry Symposium!
2023 Poultry Symposium for Production & Processing
Scheduled for October 9 to 11, 2023 in Rogers, Arkansas, the annual Poultry Symposium provides a great way for producers and processors to connect with each other and with other businesses that make it easier to make a living in poultry. At APC Solar, we’re proud to announce that we’ll be a part of the Symposium’s Vendor Tradeshow this year and are happy to answer any questions you have about agricultural or commercial solar for your operation.
Held at the Rogers Convention Center, you’ll find over 100 vendor companies with details to help you improve efficiency and economy in your operation. With experts on hand to advance your knowledge of live production and processing of broilers, breeders, and turkeys, attending the 2023 Symposium will help you get ahead of the game.
The Vendor Tradeshow includes a range of products and services that you can use in your operation, including APC Solar’s booth. If you haven’t connected turnkey commercial solar to agricultural solar in the past, you’ll be pleasantly surprised at the results you can achieve through our experienced team.
As experts that make your turnkey agricultural solar experience completely hands-off, you can focus on your operation, while we handle competitive funding financing through ACP Solars’ in-house grant-writing and financing services. Dave Mareth of Circle M Poultry mentions about the federal grant system, “We looked into trying this on our own, but it became obvious very quickly that it was just too complicated.”
We have expert services that extend far beyond financial investment consulting, including solar site surveys conducted by certified professionals, system design and engineering, experienced project management, commercial-grade solar panel installation, and outstanding post-installation customer service that is second to none. “Even three or four months after they were done, we’d have a light blink or something beeping and they’d be right there to fix it with a phone call,” Mareth continues.
One of our recent clients, Circle M Poultry Farm in Seligman, Missouri, had first-hand experience with our services and was blown away by the level of service and expertise that was showcased during the project. With a poultry farm that was spending too much on electrical utilities every month, the farm needed a better power solution. Their 285-panel 99.75 rooftop installation generates a little over 155 megawatts of power annually.
This array provides the farm with an estimated 5.9-year payback period and an average monthly savings of $750 per month, and over the system’s lifetime, it’s expected that the system will generate half a million dollars for the farm once the system is paid off. This short payback period is partially due to APC Solar’s expertise in financial incentives, including federal tax credits, MACRS depreciation, and REAP grants through the USDA’s Rural Development Program.
Our expertise extends to all aspects of commercial and agricultural solar, making it easier for you to save money without having to have the deep industry knowledge to understand all the factors. If you’re interested in learning more about how to make your poultry operation more efficient and economical, come to the 2023 Poultry Symposium in Rogers and pay a visit to the APC Solar booth #37 to learn how we can leverage a turnkey commercial solar system to power your agricultural concern. If you can’t make the Symposium, please feel free to reach out to our team for more details.
